Lou has a passion for building high-performance sales teams, along with the culture and talent needed needed as the foundation. He has effectively done this over his 35-year career as an industry-leading technology and sales leader. Lou brings a proven track record of growing global sales organizations as a longtime executive practitioner. Most recently, he was Chief Revenue Officer at Nutanix, responsible for driving company growth through global sales strategy and execution, heading up 2000+ organization that included field and technical sales, business development, inside sales, channel and OEM sales, and professional services.
Previously, Lou was Executive Vice president and Chief Revenue Officer at Informatica, the enterprise cloud data management company where he led a 1500+ global sales to a successful go-to-market turnaround. . Prior to that, Lou was General Manager for IBM’s high growth and strategic hybrid cloud portfolio which included over 2500+ field sellers, technical resources, channels, and inside sales. Earlier in his IBM tenure, Lou was General Manager of global sales for IBM Systems Middleware, which included WebSphere, Rational, cloud and smarter infrastructure (Tivoli) and IBM’s cross-brand mainframe software portfolio.
Lou serves on the Board of Sales Benchmark Index, a prestigious management consulting company that utilizes a specialized benchmarking method to help clients accelerate their rate of revenue growth and leap-frog their competitors.
